    This presentation will describe the efforts of a unique international collaboration working to enhance earlier identification of Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), so that support can be put into place for young children likely to be diagnosed with DCD after preschool age.

    This presentation will initially describe an occupational-therapy student-led investigation into the views of six different allied health professional student groups’ views and priorities regarding pre-registration education for sustainable healthcare, which was used to inform the Council Of Deans of Health ‘Education for Sustainable Healthcare within UK Pre-registration Curricula for Allied Health Professions’ guidance document in 2023. Occupational therapy-specific views will then be explored, followed by suggestions of practical actions for translating awareness of planetary health and environmental sustainability into occupational therapy education and practice.

" With this in mind it should be front of centre of our planning yet many Occupational Therapists do not know how or feel unprepared to implement sustainable changes in their their working practices.
