Odeth Richardson

Odeth was born in Jamaica. She is a trained Occupational Therapist. She’s currently employed as Head of Occupational Therapy at The Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals. Odeth has undertaken numerous roles within Occupational Therapy and is currently Chair of Council at the BAOT/RCOT.
Her current role at NUTH includes operational management, whilst also promoting the necessity of Occupational Therapy thus raising the profession’s organisational visibility.
External to work, Odeth co-chair the board of Trustees for a large North-East based charity. Additionally, a critical friend to Glasgow Caledonian University regarding initiatives to improve the representation and experiences of underrepresented OT students
