Moffat Makomo is a highly specialist occupational therapist with 20 years of clinical experience across Zimbabwe, Egypt, Bermuda, and the UK. Currently based in Trafford, Manchester, Moffat is an integral member of the NHS Trafford Children’s Therapy Services, where he lead the development of the sensory processing pathway. His international experience enriches his practice, allowing him to apply diverse perspectives to clinical input and interventions. In addition to his clinical expertise, Moffat is a published author i.e., booked, academic publications and OT news and a sought-after presenter, contributing significantly to the field of occupational therapy. He is are currently a committee member for the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) in the Northwest, where they influence professional standards and practices. He is also involved in change management initiatives with Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT), driving improvements in service delivery.
