Lauren Hopkins

THE OT SERVICE
Lauren graduated from the University of Essex with an MSc in Occupational Therapy having gained a BSc in Psychology in 2013 at the University of Reading. Since graduating Lauren has worked in a variety of clinical settings such as paediatrics, community mental health teams, inpatient CAMHS services, and adult social care.
Specialising in paediatrics, Lauren has worked with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities such as ASD, ADHD, communication challenges, motor-based difficulties, learning difficulties, and sensory processing challenges.
Lauren has achieved Module 1 and 2 of Sensory Integration and has completed The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) training to carry out standardised assessment of communication, social interaction, play, restrictive and repetitive behaviours.
