Laura graduated as an Occupational Therapist in 2008, beginning her career working with older adults in a mental health setting and in Social Care. In 2011 Laura moved to the newly forming Children with Disabilities Occupational Therapy service within Essex Council Council and has been working with children ever since. Laura has a passion for translating research into practice to enable effective service delivery. Her passion working with children extends to volunteering at a Therapy Farm run by OT’s, carrying out animal assisted therapy with young people with disabilities. She also runs an early years Forest School in a preschool setting.
