After working as an Occupational Therapist for many years in social care, hospitals, the community, mainstream and special schools she understands the challenges clinicians face in all areas. As an Occupational Therapist with Sustainability in mind she has supported staff to make changes in clinical practice, highlighted the need for sustainability in projects for students and as part of staff appraisals. Following a year as one of the Chief Sustainability Officer's Clinical Fellows she is working as a clinical sustainability manager in Sussex. Jacqueline believes that as occupational therapists we are ideally placed to support the changes necessary to make healthcare more environmentally sustainable. As an elected member of the Board of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists she is keen to hear your views on what your professional organisation should be doing.
