The Occupational Therapy Service
Emma qualified in 1994 and specialised in housing and adaptations. Her interest in the relationship between the person and their environment led her to complete an MSc in Health Ergonomics. As a result of that she became interested in the relationship between people and their work environment. Emma was the programme leader for the MSc in Vocational Rehabilitation and Sheffield Hallam University for almost 10 years which helped give the empirical foundations to her clinical practice. She now specialises in vocational rehabilitation and workplace wellbeing/occupational health.
