Occupational Therapy plays a vital role in CAMHS in-patient units with a unique focus on enhancing young people’s functional abilities, emotional regulation, and utilising meaningful occupation to support community reintegration. Our presentation demonstrates how data collection and reporting can substantiate the roles of Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants to secure funding to drive team expansion. We will showcase how we have utilised our increased provision to align with wider service goals and addressing a growing demand for CAMHS.
