Trusted Assessor: Assessing for Minor Adaptations (level three)
The leading national Trusted Assessor qualification, this popular practical course is designed to enable staff to assess for and prescribe minor equipment and adaptations and to know when to refer a more complex case to an OT. Learners learn to use clinical reasoning and think about the person’s needs, their home and family environment. They address what matters to the person and consider a range of common solutions.
Equipment covered includes chair and bed raisers, bath boards, seats, stair rails, rails for toileting, raised toilet seats & frames, grab rails, perching stools and small household items.
