REAL 9100

The REAL 9100 is a versatile model of the Mercado Medic range, designed to promote independence and postural management.

It can be made as simple or as complex as the user requires, and incorporates a seating system that enables people of all shapes, sizes and conditions to be able to maintain a comfortable and supportive seating position.

Seat sizes range from 29x32cm (WxD) all the way up to 56x53cm, and backrest sizes range from 27x22cm (WxH) up to 50x60cm. The seat, backrest and armrests are all fully adjustable, so the chair can be made to the exact size of the user, or made larger to future proof.

Used to be independent and active in any indoor environment, the REAL 9100 chair can aid people to cook, clean, eat, transfer, work, study and be active whist eliminating risk caused by any disability or conditions caused by poor posture.

Furthermore, it does not stand out as much as some disability seating, and can be made to resemble an office chair, or customised to suit the personality of the user.

The safety brake feature is unique to Mercado Medic, as instead of braking on the wheels, it raises the back wheels off the floor, which prevents any risk of the chair tipping over as well as keeping the chair secure for transfers.

Extras such as headrests, trunk supports, belts, hip guides and foot plates can all be built onto the chair or very easily retrofitted.
