Powered mobile arm supports carry the weight of your arm, making it feel weightless. Even if you have minimal arm strength, our powered supports, the Elemento, Salvum and Supporter, enable you to stretch and reach, without putting strain on your muscles.
You control the level of compensation by pressing a button. Crucially, all our arm supports allow you to maintain arm movement and utilise residual strength, which helps retain muscle strength and keep the joints in motion.
Our powered arm supports are commonly used by people with neuromuscular conditions (such as muscular dystrophy, spinal muscular atrophy and motor neurone disease), spinal injuries and chronic muscle pain and fatigue, at the point when the mechanical arm supports are no longer enough.
