An Adjustable Chair for Complex Postural Support:

This specialist chair features a 3 part backrest with individually adjustable and cushioned arms on both sides.  Each arm has four points of adjustment (2 on each side) using a simple “pull-out pin”, to change the angles of the cushion.  This enables the entire back to be precisely tailored to accommodate individual’s with complex postural requirements or spinal asymmetries, and offer essential stability.

Whether a patient leans to one side or has a specific spinal/postural condition, the adjustable cushioned arms ensure that the right areas are always supported.

As with the rest of the Lento range, the seat depth, seat width, arm height, leg-rest, footplate and overall back angle can all also be easily adjusted, without needing any special training or tools.  This enables you to achieve a perfect chair size and sitting position for every individual.     

Specialist Movements & Functionalities:

• Independent Tilt in Space – The tilt-in-space function can be manually or electrically operated, and is beneficial for pressure relief and maintaining skin integrity, as well as offering extra postural support, improved circulation, assisted breathing and swallowing, and much more.
• Backrest Recline – The backrest can be reclined, enabling it to be angled for extra repositioning and comfort.  
• Articulating Leg Rest – The extendable footrest with gel leg rest wrap provides continual pressure care, alleviating pressure on the legs.
• Angle Adjustable Footplate – The padded footplate is height and angle adjustable, helping to facilitate postural issues in the lower limbs such as windswept feet, swelling or plantar flexion. 
• Arm Adjustments – The arm height can be adjusted on the Lento Trio Care Chair, as well as being fully removeable for easier side transfers. 

Manual or Motorised Control:

You can choose whether you would prefer the chair’s functionality to be controlled by an ergonomic and easy-to-use remote handset, or otherwise manually operated with handles and levers.  We can assist you in choosing the right functionality for your needs.   

Considered Pressure Relief:

The soft four way stretch Dartex material to all contact surfaces keeps the skin cool and hydrated, protecting the surface of the skin.  

Seat Cushion Options Include Visco Foam (medium risk), Cool Gel (High Risk), and Alternating Air (Very High Risk).
