The Standard WashPod is a fully compliant model that can be installed inside the home (or removed) within a day, without any adaptations, quickly and easily, erected in a spare room, a large conservatory or a double garage. It is large enough at 2.3m x 2.6m to offer sufficient room for a carer and wheelchairs and can accommodate a hoist with load bearing of up to 200kg.
There is also an External version that can fit on a patio, drive or garden with a connecting lobby, if needed. It can be installed in just a few days and carried in sections through the house to less accessible places. It has an internal hot water tank and a pressurised shower unit and electric, underfloor heating together with heated towel rail help maintain the temperature at 25°C if required.
