About Our Assessments:
We take care to ensure every individual is supplied with the right equipment for their needs. With decades of specialist seating knowledge and expertise, our friendly seating experts, assessors and occupational therapists have the clinical know-how to be able to recommend the right equipment solutions each person. Our assessments and demonstrations can be carried out at homes/care homes, in our Wetherby showroom, or via video call.
What You Can Expect During an Assessment:
- Once you have booked your assessment, one of our care experts/seating assessors will join you at a pre-agreed location for a specific client, with the most relevant seating options on the back of a van. They will then try the different options, look at postural needs, pressure care, adjustability requirements, and living arrangements alongside medical background and measurements, to identify the best seating or equipment solution. This will take approximately 30 – 60 minutes.
- Following this assessment, the seating assessor will put together a quote based on what was identified, and send it to you within 24 hours.
- Once funding has been approved, which we can also assist with if required, the order can be placed and we will have you set up with the right chair or piece of equipment in no time!
