Rahana Life launches the Munevo Drive: smart head control for wheelchairs

We often meet clients who experience chronic neck pain due to the (unnatural) head and neck movements required to access and operate chin joystick controls. People report issues with losing joystick contact and control when travelling over rough ground, and find eating and drinking more difficult to access because “the area around my mouth is blocked”. Clients also access several switches to control multiple devices.

The Munevo Drive delivers greater comfort, accessibility and control in one single device. The unique smart head control uses ergonomic head movements, gives a smooth drive, and allows you to connect to and effortlessly change control from, say, wheelchair drive to wheelchair seating, computer control, Jaco robot arm control and environmental control.
