Using real life examples and case studies this presentation will explore regulation in adults and children, with or without a diagnosis. Considering sensory, emotional, and cognitive factors that help or hinder our ability to self-regulate. Exploring how different people and groups find ways of regulating and how the environment and resources impact this. Case studies consider a broad range of people, from professional athletes to children in a Romanian orphanage.
