NHS Hereford and Worcestershire in conjunction with Lived Experience Partners and an OT specialising in sensory integration have undertaken a Sensory-Friendly Environments Project in Hereford and Worcestershire. Assessing GP practices and providing recommendations for improving the sensory environment, the project aims to address health inequalities and improve GP access for autistic people. This presentation explains the project, assessment process and findings, as well as exploring health inequalities for autistic people.
