Evidence-Based Practice – What, Why, and How?

Dr Fletcher-Smith will discuss the importance of evidence-based practice (EBP) and why it matters. Using real world examples, this session will aim to demonstrate the positive impact EBP can have on the individuals we support and highlight that you do not need to be a research expert to get involved in research or implement evidence into practice. The support available from IRCM and industry bodies to access CPD and research opportunities will be signposted.
