All OTs are Work OTs in Disguise

27 Nov 2024
Theatre 2
Work & Vocational Rehab

Are you aware that All OTs are Work OTs in disguise? Occupational Therapists currently ask the work question 'Do you work?' in almost all settings. Regardless of what the answer to that question is we want to challenge you to Do Something with this information. This session aims to empower OTs to explore how to have effective Health and Work Conversations. Let's put OTs in the forefront of the current campaign encouraging people to return to work. OTs have always known that being more 'occupied', whether in paid work or not and being as 'productive' and active as possible leads to greater health and wellbeing. We want to enable you to recognise that all OTs have the skills to make Small Changes to their practice to have the Biggest Impact. It will Reveal much. You'll go away surprised at how much OTs can do in this area.
